Digital Marketing Strategist

Sticky Branding is hiring a Digital Marketing Strategist to drive online course sales.

Building on the success of our strategy consulting practice, Sticky Branding is launching public cohorts and online courses. In this role, you will be instrumental in defining and executing our strategy to attract and convert participants into our course offerings.

We anticipate a multi-channel digital marketing strategy:

  • Paid Media: Engage our social media fans and followers with targeted ads.
  • Email Sequences: Develop email sequences to introduce and convert prospects.
  • Course Campaigns: Targeted campaigns to promote each course.

This is a new venture with a lean budget. We need to prove the strategy and advertising work before we can scale it. Your objective will be to define and implement a sustainable, cost-effective digital marketing platform that fills each class profitably.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven track record in performance marketing. You have experience building and scaling paid media channels from scratch for startups.
  • You’ve managed demand generation campaigns for online learning, edtech, or related direct-to-business consumer services.
  • You have experience managing campaigns across multiple platforms with a focus on Meta, Google Ads, and YouTube.
  • You have deep expertise in marketing automation (we use ActiveCampaign) for developing email sequences and campaigns to guide prospects through the customer journey.
  • You have a track record of using experimentation using data and strategy to improve and optimize the full customer journey.
  • You have been responsible for budgeting, pacing, forecasting, and reporting the impact of performance media against established business goals.
  • You work well in a collaborative environment to develop and refine marketing strategies.

Job Details:

  • Salary: To be determined, depending on experience.
  • Working Hours: Flexible but available for meetings between 2pm to 7pm SAST (to align with the Canadian team).
  • Part-time: 10-20 hours per week; We will work with you to assess project requirements.
  • Level: Intermediate (3-5 years of relevant work experience), Senior (6+ years).
