My dad always used to say, “Nothing relieves pressure like sales.”

Sales is the lifeblood of your organization. Without customers, your business won’t last very long.

The more insidious and common situation is a gradual decline in sales. Margins tighten, demand slows, and the pressure mounts.

The problem is the go-to techniques to turn around sales generally don’t work. They waste time and money, and deplete resources, further exacerbating the situation.

Ironically, the solution to turning around your business is more sales: You need to dramatically increase the volume of sales activity to dig out of the hole. But, and this is a big but, you need a different strategy.
